Instructions
Grease the bottom and sides of your slow cooker with cooking spray or butter or line with a disposable liner. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the Crockpot.
In a small bowl, add the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and dry onion soup mix.
Stir until combined.

I haven't personally tried this in a 2.5 quart, but it should be about the same. A small slow cooker is probably more well-suited to this recipe anyway because the amount of food is relatively small. The most reliable way to tell if it’s done is to use a meat thermometer if you can check it during the cook time.
