This creamy strawberry cheesecake dip is the kind of dessert that disappears fast. It’s sweet, smooth, and swirled with strawberry jam and chopped fresh strawberries for a simple but satisfying no-bake treat.

You get the flavor of a strawberry cheesecake in a light and fluffy dessert dip. Made with softened cream cheese, Cool Whip, and powdered sugar, it only takes a few minutes to make and is perfect for dipping with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or fruit.
The tangy cream cheese mixture is whipped until smooth, then combined with whipped topping and finished with a swirl of jam and diced strawberries. If you like this strawberry cheesecake dip recipe, try my marshmallow fluff fruit dip next.

Ingredients

- Cream cheese: Use full fat cream cheese (softened) for a smooth, rich base.
- Powdered sugar: Sweetens the cheesecake dip and dissolves easily.
- Vanilla extract: Adds a warm, vanilla flavor just like regular cheesecake.
- Cool Whip: Whipped topping lightens the dip and makes it fluffy.
- Strawberry jam: Adds sweetness and strawberry flavor.
- Fresh strawberries: Diced and sprinkled over the top for color, texture, and extra strawberry flavor.

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. I like using a hand mixer for this recipe.

Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then beat again until fully combined.

Add the Cool Whip and beat on low speed until the dip is light and creamy. Use a spatula to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed to incorporate the cream cheese.

Transfer to a wide, shallow bowl or pie plate (this is great for distributing the dip to keep the filling to topping ratio just right).

If the strawberry jam is thick, microwave it for about 15–20 seconds to loosen it up. Spoon the jam over the top of the dip and gently swirl it through with a knife or spatula. Don’t fully mix it in.

Sprinkle the diced fresh strawberries over the top or place in the center as pictured.

Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for the best texture. Serve with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, shortbread cookies, or fresh strawberries. It's best enjoyed the same day, as the jam and fresh strawberries release liquid over time.

Substitutions
- Cream cheese: Whipped cream cheese or Neufchâtel will work.
- Powdered sugar: Granulated sugar also works, but you'll need to beat the mixture longer to make sure it dissolves.
- Strawberry jam: Try strawberry preserves, strawberry sauce, or a swirl of homemade strawberry puree.
Equipment
You will need a large mixing bowl and a hand mixer (or a stand mixer) as well as a silicone spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
I recommend serving this in a pie plate (9 inch or 10 inch) instead of a large bowl because the shallow surface lets you swirl in the strawberry jam more evenly and layer the fresh strawberry topping so every scoop gets a little of everything.
Behind the Recipe
This recipe was inspired by my no-bake strawberry cheesecake cups. The filling is so good, I thought I could make it into a slightly easier dessert recipe by turning it into a no-bake strawberry cheesecake dip.
My top tip is to use softened cream cheese. Cold cream cheese will create lumps, so let it sit at room temperature before mixing. Don't skip this step!
